The Story So Far… Mark Scheierman has always had an interest in cutting edge technology. From his early days with an Atari 2600, then as a teenager with his Commodore 64 and Amiga computers. Even today as an adult, this hasn’t changed, as Mark continues this passion with the latest VR Headsets available and of course Motion Simulation.
But the “Need for Speed” was also an important element in Mark’s life. As soon as he was old enough to drive, he developed a passion for racing. While still in High School, Mark built and campaigned his own 150 Mph Dragster around the country. Eventually becoming a crew member on several World Championship winning teams.
The combination of speed, racing and technology eventually lead Mark into the world of computer simulation. As technology in Virtual Reality and Motion Simulation became a real possibility for the Home Consumer, Mark jumped into both full force, starting with the original Oculus DK2 and later adding DOF Reality’s First Generation of Motion Simulator.
This lead to the start of a new project, the “Get Your Game On” YouTube channel, where Mark’s passion for Immersive Gaming could be shared with people around the world. His passion was quickly noticed by DOF Reality, as Mark became an ambassador for the brand, travelling to trade-shows and teaching others about the possibilities all this new technology could deliver.
